The Power In Us Project exists to connect important environmental conservation works with popular music through creative collaborations. The objective is to provide a space where conservation and music can come together to make a stronger impact and amplify the voices of
Environmental Conservation.
Artist x Ocean Conservation
Released on World Ocean Day in June 2023. The popular song. 'Power In Us' by Anderson Rocio, donates 100% of its streaming revenue to three carefully chosen organizations dedicated to ocean conservation; Mission Blue, Ocean Generation and Live Ocean. 'Power In Us' began as a heartfelt tribute to the Earth, a song inspired by those working tirelessly to protect it.

MOTHER Magazine
The PIU Project teamed up with MOTHER Magazine, a force created by Women for Nature. A Nonprofit to inspire the world to see, capture Nature in all its beauty and tell stories to make a change.
These two worlds came together to harness the power of music and media on a cosmic level. We created a platform for female creatives who’s visual stories of our natural world would become the official music video for Anderson Rocio's 'Power In Us'.
The collective work of the creatives chosen, were curated and premiered as the Official Power In Us Music Video, worldwide on June 16th, 2024.
100% of the streaming revenue for this video will be donated to SeaLegacy to further the collective power of storytelling for conservation.

Mission Blue x Distrokid
'Artists for Change' is a feature created by DISTROKID, one of the world's largest music Distribution platforms. This feature allows artists to automatically donate a percentage of royalties to charitable organizations & causes. The Power In Us Project teamed Mission Blue up with DISTROKID to give 2million Artists the option to donate a portion of their royalties to one of our favorite Conservation Organizations, Dr. Sylvia Earle's Mission Blue.
Power In Us x Ocean Geographic
2099 Power In US Antarctic Climate Epic (ACE) Documentary
Ocean Geographic's ACE expedition took place in February 2023. 'The goal of the expedition was to create a series of lectures, a feature documentary, exhibitions, a book, and most importantly, resolutions to stimulate transformative change for net zero emissions by 2035’ -Michael AW
Ocean Geographic teamed up with The Power In Us Project’s Artist Anderson Rocio, for their theme song ‘Power In Us’, later re-naming the documentary to ‘2099 Power In Us’. The song was used with Ocean Geographic’s live Exhibition, performed at the Singapore’s Youth for Climate Action Conference and supported their presentation with Dr. Sylvia Earle at the 2024 11th Annual World Ocean Summit & Expo in their Documentary short. Power In Us will also feature in the 2099 Power In Us ACE Documentary scheduled for release Winter 2024.
The song remains available License-Free to any Conservation project that wishes to use it for the purpose of amplifying voices of conservation.
DTRP 20th Anniversary x Power In Us Video Premier
Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project
The Power In Us Project came together with the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project (DTRP) to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the DTRP this World Ocean Month 2024.
Since its inception in 2004, the DTRP has rescued, rehabilitated and released over 2150 endangered sea turtles across four different species. This non-profit initiative led by Jumeirah Group in collaboration with Dubai Wildlife protection office and with support from the Dubai Royal Family veterinary facilities and central Veterinary Research Laboratory stands as a beacon of conservation.
The Power In Us Project brought the Power In Us x Mother Magazine official music video premier and a live performance by Anderson Rocio, to the 20th Anniversary Event at the iconic Jumeirah Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
"Emphasizing the importance of engaging the community in global conservation efforts, the evening brought together government representatives, scientists, artists, NGOs, and private sector businesses in a shared commitment to enhance awareness and cooperation for the preservation of marine ecosystems. Blending the worlds of conservation and popular music, the evening also featured a captivating performance by Anderson Rocio, artist, songwriter, and fervent environmental advocate from New Zealand. Rocio sang ‘Power in Us,’ a moving song created to support global ocean conservation efforts, along with the premiere of its Official Music Video. This visually stunning compilation, produced by The Power In Us Project in collaboration with MOTHER Magazine, showcases photography and film from various corners of the globe. All proceeds from streaming the song will support Mission Blue, Ocean Generation, and Live Ocean Foundation, while proceeds from streaming the music video will go to Sea Legacy." - Zwaya.com
